HBAA will have this month's regular meeting on Friday, November 8, 2013 at noon at the offices of the Austin Bar Association, 816 Congress Avenue, in the Longhorm room on the third floor. Parking will be validated, and lunch will be served. We hope to see you!

HBAA is proud to have been a participant in the first Hispanic Organizations Working Together as One (HOWTO) Community Leadership Summit held on June 23, 2013. Attendees learned from distinguished speakers about topics affecting the Greater Austin, and discussed ways that HOWTO could become involved in these issues to have a positive impact on the community.

The Hispanic Bar Association of Austin and the Austin Black Lawyers Association were delighted to host a combined happy hour including the Austin Asian American Bar Association, the Austin LGBT Bar Association, and the Austin South Asian Bar Association on Thursday, April 11 at the offices of McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, LLP in downtown Austin. This past Thursday, December 6, 2012, the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin brightened the holiday season of over 30 local children as it continued its tradition of providing gifts, entertainment and a visit from Santa at its Kids Christmas Party. Special thanks to Lulu Flores for organizing this annual event for 18+ years, to a "jolly" Russell Ramirez, to the Austin Bar Association for hosting, and to all members who bought gifts!
