HBAA Assists Families in Need for Thanksgiving

On Tuesday, November 22, 2011, HBAA and other volunteers helped spread holiday cheer by distributing Thanksgiving dinners to local families in need at the South Austin Neighborhood Center as part of HBAA’s annual Thanksgiving Basket Project.

This year, we gave out turkeys and all the trimmings for a holiday feast to a total of 60 families!

HBAA wishes to extend its thanks to the volunteers and donors who made it all possible.  Special thanks go out to Amigos de South Austin Neighborhood Center, Ross Wallace of Key Impact, Mack Ray Hernandez, HendlerLaw and all of the staff at the South Austin Neighborhood Center for their efforts and contributions.
